Here Are 3 Simple Steps To Help You Dry Hair

Every now and then, a girl finds herself in a situation that she is late and needs to dry hair really fast. Here are 3 simple steps to help the girl achieve this.

1. Dry Your Hear With a Towel

In order to get your hair dried as quickly as possible you need to start the drying part as soon as you're done with the washing part. A towel helps a lot here.

Don't just wrap your wet hair in a towel and get out of the bathroom. Squeeze the excess water from the hair first, and then dry it up a bit with the towel. Basically, you'll be wiping your hair and letting the towel soak the water from your hair.

Still, don't be too harsh while doing this, because your hair is weakest when it's wet and you'll damage it if you wipe like a maniac with the towel. Press the towel couple of times against your head and your hair – it can absorb only so much water anyway.

2. To Blow-dry on Maximum Heat or Not?

Whenever you're in a hurry, you're probably thinking about blow-drying your hair on maximum heat in order to speed the whole process up. The decision about doing this is really only yours, but here are some pros and cons.

Of course, you'll dry your hair faster on maximum heat, but you also risk burning both your hair and maybe even your skin if you accidently touch it with the blow dryer. This really causes a lot of damage to your hair so make sure you avoid doing it except in really urgent situations. If you do decide to do this, make sure you apply heat resistance spray before you start blow-drying your hair, in order to protect your hair a bit from all that heat.

3. How to Blow-dry Properly?

Blow-drying your hair is not really rocket science, but there are some tricks when it comes to drying your hair fast. Learn them and shorten the time you need to dry your hair.

First of all, don't do anything else while blow-drying your hair. Don't watch TV, because you'll tend to drift off and blow in only one place that's been dry for a couple of minutes already. Take the TV and your computer off, and just dedicate the time to drying your hair.

The fastest way to dry your hair is to lower your head and let all the hair fall over your face. Keep your head this way and just blow-dry. Your hair will disperse this way and it will be easier to dry it. Furthermore, drying your hair like this will pump up the volume of your hair, so, you're in for a double win.

Whatever you choose to do have in mind that blow-drying damages your hair, and you shouldn't do this often. Don't hold the blow-dryer too close to your hair or your skin, because you risk burning it. Always apply conditioner and heat resistance spray before you start blow-drying your hair.

It Is Highly Important To Find The Right Hair Conditioner For You

The hair is the crown of a woman's beauty, so it is highly important that you find the right conditioner for your hair. Conditioner on African hair is good, but care must be taken because some conditioners have been known to cause hair breakage on African hair. If not, then, it will be like washing a pure silk shirt with detergent that is meant for wool or cotton cloth.

Hair requires special care. "Some of us have strands similar to wool, and others are more like silk," says internationally renowned stylist Sherri Jessee. "To have the most beautiful locks possible, it is very important to utilise the correct maintenance regimen."

That means choosing the right conditioner for your hair type. Recognising the signs that you have the wrong one is sometimes more obvious than others. Speaking to hair stylist Lina Udeh within Abuja, she said: "Conditioner can do marvels for the hair, but there are some of my clients that do not use conditioners at all. They would rather just straighten it with a hot iron."

Your hair conditioner doesn't match your stylist's advice: Your stylist is like your own personal guru - at least when it comes to hair care suggestions. That's why Jessee's number one tip is to ask for advice at the salon - then follow it and see if it really works for you! "Your professional stylist can help you pick the right product that is good for your hair type," she says. "She'll consider the texture of your hair and what chemical treatments you've had done to make a recommendation."

Your hair is coloured, and you're not using a colour-safe product: If you don't use colour-safe conditioner and shampoo on colour-treated hair, then "what you’ve paid to put in there, you're washing away," Jessee says. It's like watching your money go straight down the drain. Using the right colour-safe conditioner will keep blonde brighter and brunette bolder. You may get two more weeks out of your hair colour before you have to pay for another one.

If your hair is fine and flat, you need a lighter conditioner. "If somebody has fine hair, and they use a smoothing treatment, it's going to feel oily, limp, and lifeless," Jessee says. Use a lighter-weight product that won't weigh down fine hair.

You have dry hair, and you're using a strengthening shampoo: Extra strength won't help dry hair. If you're not getting enough moisture, then you're not treating the true problem, Jessee says. "It's kind of like eating a steak when you're thirsty. Dry, damaged hair needs a rich, moisturising daily conditioner. At least once a week, revive parched hair with a deeper, leave-in conditioning treatment. Once a month, have it done at a salon.

While you don't want to buy the cheapest conditioner in the store, you also don't need to spend so much. A conditioner that is five times more expensive won't necessarily make your hair look five times better. Some experts say that once you get past a certain range, you're not adding much value to your hair. Once you get the best conditioner for you, use it right. Here are some steps to doing a proper conditioning on your hair.

There Are Some Techniques On How To Comb Wet Hair

There are some techniques on how to comb wet hair that help keep your tresses groomed, smooth, tangle free, and without broken strands to reduce follicle health. When you shampoo your locks, the strands absorb a certain amount of water. As the cuticle is softened and takes up the moisture, the strand stretches and becomes thinner. As you can imagine, any further tension on the strand may cause it to break.

It is important to note that the follicles of wet hairs are more than two times as sensitive when they are wet, as when they are dry. Even more damage can be done if many types of shampoo are used. Shampoo strips the natural nutrients from the strands. Using conditioner alone is one way to solve the problem of overly harsh cleaning agents found in shampoos.

Some of the techniques that should be considered while combing wet hairs, other than the cleaning product you use include the slow and easy procedure. Start from the tips of the hairs and work the tool downward in short strokes. Avoid trying to force it through any snarls or knots.

Use the right tools. A brush is not the right tool. A brush is more likely to worsen the snarls and break the hair. By using a wide tooth smooth combing device, it will glide through the strands. The tool should have wide teeth and should always be made of a smooth surface.

One example of a ideal device that is beneficial for your hair is the Swissco Wet Comb Tortoise. It is a one piece device in a tortoiseshell pattern. The teeth are wider than those of many of the other styles of combs you may be familiar with. The comb is very easy to handle. It can be use in very long strands, but it is also effective in mid-length and shorter locks. The major benefit is the fact that the teeth are wide. As the combs are drawn through the strands, they doesn't pull or tug at the wet strands. This protects against pulling out, damaging or splitting tips.

Combing wet hair effectively consists of three major elements. The wetting agent should be carefully chosen to avoid stripping vital nutrients from the strands. The right comb should be chosen. The major elements of the comb should be smooth and the teeth are to be wide. Finally, combing with short and gentle strokes working for the tips toward the scalp.

You Must Avoid These Incorrect Methods For Washing Hair

In usual life, everybody will wash your hair. However, whether the method to wash hair affects our health, I think that many people are not clear. Well, healthy experts remind everyone that if we often adopt incorrect method to wash hair, it not only will not reach the cleaning results, but also affects the health of scalp, hair root and hair follicles and so on. In the following, I will introduce three issues that you should pay attention to when washing hair.

First of all, you should not use the fingernail to scratch your head skin. After smear shampoo, many people are used to scratching the scalp with fingernails, because they think that doing so can clean the hair. In fact, doing so is very wrong; this is a misunderstanding of life. Because there are many bacteria in the nails, if you use hard fingernail to scratch delicate scalp, scalp is extremely vulnerable to injury, and it is also very likely to cause infection. However, the correct approach to wash hair is that after smear shampoo, you can use finger pulp to gently rub and push the scalp, which not only can achieve the effect of decontamination, but also plays the effect of blood circulation.

Second, you should not directly smear the conditioner at the hair root. Because the warm water will quickly open the hair follicles, this time, if you smear the conditioner at the hair root, the chemicals composition of hair conditioner can easily penetrate and clog hair follicles.

The common sense tell us that the correct way to wash hair is to first straighten the hair out, and then smear the conditioner along the ears to the tips of the hair ends, but do not let your hair conditioner run into the scalp, so as not to harm the health of the skin.

Third, whether are you used to washing hair directly without combing hair? Most of the people like to wash hair directly with no combing, which is a healthy misunderstanding. In fact, scalp is very important for hair. Before wash hair, using a comb to moisten your hair, the cleaning effect will be better. Because doing so makes the dust and dirt attached to the scalp float on the surface of the hair, it is very easy to clean.

How To Reduce Dandruff From Your Hair Effectively

Dandruff, according to the Oxford Advance Learners Dictionary is described as "very small pieces of dead skin, seen as white dust in a person's hair." Medical experts have also stated that dandruff occur as a result of the renewal of your skin. If you have a lot of dandruff, it means that you shed your old skin more often, except there is a medical condition such as psoriasis, Malassezia, seborrheic dermatitis. Head lice could also be the cause of your dandruff.

Psoriasis is a skin disorder that causes an accumulation of dead skin cells that form thick, silvery scales. Even though, psoriasis commonly occurs on your knees, elbows and trunk, it can also affect your scalp.

Seborrheic dermatitis on the other hand, is one of the most frequent causes of dandruff. It is marked by red, greasy skin covered with flaky white or yellow scales. Likepsoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis may affect not only your scalp, but also other areas rich in oil glands, such as your eyebrows, the sides of your nose and the backs of your ears, your breastbone, your groin area, and sometimes your armpits.

Malassezia is a fungal infection that lives on the scalps. It might not cause problems, but when it grows out of control, it feeds on the oils secreted by your hair follicles. This can irritate the skin on your scalp and cause more skin cells to grow. The extra skin cells die and fall off, clumping with oil from your hair and scalp, making them appear white and flaky in your hair. Oftentimes, this eruption is identical to or closely resembles seborrheic dermatitis. Other causes of dandruff could be dry skin, lack of enough shampoo, eczema and sensitive hair care products.

Dandruff has been identified as a condition that might not be totally eliminated because the shedding of skin is not seen as a medical problem. There are ways therefore to reduce the irritation caused – itching or flaky white particles on your hair/clothes or self-esteem.

You can shampoo your hair more frequently with anti-dandruff shampoo. If you have your hair braided into individuals such as singles, micros, kinky twist, you can work through the hair with warm water. If you have weaves on, you can do the same if it is sewn-in. You might not be able to shampoo a bonded weaves the glue might become weak and come off the hair.

Using hair cream that helps reduce dandruff is also helpful. It might be difficult to find the right one, but the ones that have anti-dandruff agent will work. Certain kinds of food have been identified to help reduce dandruff, including, lemon, olive oil, salmon and food high in Vitamin B6 and B12.

Lemon juice is said to help bring the pH level of the scalp back to a healthy level. When the pH level of the scalp is altered with the use of hair care products, or from secretions of the scalp, lemon is most effective. Massage a few tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice directly into the scalp and then rinse out thoroughly with cold water. Restoring the scalps natural pH balance will help to treat current dandruff, as well as prevent future dandruff.

Olive oil helps to loosen dandruff on the scalp and also helps to moisturize the scalp. Olive oil works best when it is warmed lightly and then massaged into the scalp. Leave it on for a total of 20 to 30 minutes then rinse out gently with warm water. This treatment works best to treat and prevent dandruff when it is used twice per week.

How to Care for Your Straight Hair

For so many girls seeking after beauty, do you know how to design straight hair? Today we will take you to a brief five-step instruction of doing straight hair by yourself.
First, comb your hair neatly with a toothcomb. Smooth hair is the basis of having impressive long straight hair.
Second, divide your hair into a one-fifth part and a four-fifth one. The bang will look better if the clinking is a little one-sided. Besides, you can use some wax to fix naughty bang.
Third, leave out the hair that you want to put in front of your ears, with the rest being tied back and made neat. With your hair being more, the part you leave out in front of the ears should be more.
Fourth, use several simple and colorful clips to pin your bang at the bottom of your eyebrow. Pay attention that the bang will not be too close to your pate to break the radian of the bang.
Fifth, hair on the both sides can be made a little internal with an electric hair curler, such as a GHD one, which is famous for its high quality and meeting all kinds of needs.
What’s more, the next part is about how to tend to your lovely hairstyle.
First, when the hair is wet, put some mousse or rancid milk in the middle of your hand, then knead it and smear on your hair to increase the texture and the straightness. Then turn on the GHD hair drier to dry your hair when combing it with a toothcomb at the same time.
Second, dip some hair gel and knead on your scrap hair to smoothen it slightly. If you like to dye your hair, then you can refer to some hair lotion which has the function to care specially for dyed hair to increase the lustrousness with maintaining the color of your hair. If it is permed, you can also use gel or hair milk to make your hair look better. When it comes to molding your hair, hair gel also can be used to make the style natural and pretty.
The last but not least, if you are tired of neat straight hair and want to make a change, you can get some gel when your hair is still wet and knead it evenly. Then just do a style with your fingers. What’s more, you can use the GHD straighter to blow the key parts of your hair to make the lines smoother.

Tell You The Right Ways To Wash Your Hair

Beautiful hair can enhance our beauty easily and greatly, but for the beautiful hair we need to take care of them carefully. The most important thing for the beautiful hair is the washing, the right way to wash hair can make them pretty, the right way is getting it wet, shampoo, rinse, condition, rinse, wring it out and dry.

First, comb your hair thoroughly before bathing, wet hair is more delicate than dry so you have less chance of causing damage if tangles are removed beforehand. Next, heat can severely damage the hair. While hot water isn't nearly as damaging as a blow dryer or direct sun, it still takes a toll on the hair. To avoid this, adjust the water until it is pleasantly warm and no warmer. Steaming hot showers feel great and can certainly be indulged in, but it's best if your hair is left out of the direct path of this very hot water so consider cooling it down a little while washing.

Next, take into account what type of hair you have before shampooing. If your scalp is oily but the length is dry, don't directly shampoo the entire length. Instead, get a good lather going and then apply shampoo to the oily part of the scalp only, then rinse. The shampoo flowing down the length when rinsed will be plenty to remove surface dirt. Do not fold your hair up and "scrub" it with the shampoo as this can cause a lot of tangling and damage. Let the hair lay flat as much as possible throughout the wash.

To condition, start from the ends and work your way up. Make sure the ends, which are more prone to damage than any other part of the hair, get a generous amount of conditioner. Gently massage the product into the length of the hair, but only brush a little bit on the scalp area if you have trouble with an oily scalp. Let it sit for 1-3 minutes, then rinse. If you'd like to bring out the shine in your hair a little more, rinse it in cold water; cold water helps the cuticle lay flat.

Now it's time to dry your hair. Twisting the length into a rope and wringing the excess water out of it can stretch the hair, weakening and breaking individual hairs. Instead, you can grip the length near your head and work your way down, gently squeezing the water out.

Towels are not meant to rub the water out of hair, and rubbing against the hair can cause severe tangling as well as catch hairs and pull them out. For best results, gently press the hair in between two parts of the towel to draw even more water out.

If you use a leave-in conditioner, this is the time to apply it. If the package instructs you to comb your hair to disperse the conditioner, be sure to start at the ends and use caution when combing. Wet hair stretches very easily so snagging on tangles is likely to cause damage. Brushes are generally damaging even under the best conditions and should never be used on wet hair.

We've discussed the damage heat can do, so if you use a blow dryer take extreme care with it and do some research on ways to reduce the damage. Bear in mind that no matter what method you use or what kind of heat protection you apply to your hair, it will sustain some damage with a blow dryer.

Finally, hair does not necessarily need to be washed every day. Washing with shampoo too often can strip the hair of the oils it needs for good health, often a rinse or light conditioning by itself is plenty to keep hair looking great in-between shampoos. Alternatively, if you desire a little more detergent power you can dilute shampoo in a small bottle of warm water and squirt it on your scalp for a light cleaning.

Some Useful Tips For Caring The Hair

Dry scalp, dull hair, dandruff and excessive hair fall – all these problems besiege you in winter. And fretting and worrying can worsen things, say experts, claiming the problem can be controlled with the right treatment. The importance of hair can be understood from the fact that those with a receding hairline or bald patches are queuing up outside specialised hair transplant clinics and splurging on treatments.
Rohit Batra, dermatologist at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, told IANS: “It is a temporary phase and people shouldn’t get tense thinking about it because stress is also a reason for excessive hair fall.”Flaky skin, frizzy, rebellious hair are common during winter, but it can be avoided and repaired.”
To keep the tresses lustrous and bouncy, Batra suggests that one should “oil hair regularly”.”Winters usually bring fungal infections and dandruff. The fungal problems aggravate when people do not wash their hair frequently, when they do not oil their hair or let the conditioner stay for a longer duration.
“Another factor is that in winter usually people wash hair with hot water, but they forget that it is not advisable. They should wash hair with lukewarm water because hot water leaves the scalp dry,” Batra added. If dermatologists are not available, one can consult hair stylists who are trained and can dole out good hair care tips.
“Season change always has certain side effects. Be it monsoon or winter, it is a time when everyone needs to take care of one’s skin and hair,” stylist Raj, who is associated with Prince and Princess beauty clinic, told IANS.”The number of customers with such complaints increases during winter. On a normal day, a fall of 50-60 strands is considered healthy. But during this season, a person can experience hair fall of more than 200 strands,” he added.
If you can’t afford professional treatments, you can go for effective home remedies, says stylisht Gaurav Sharma. To get rid of dandruff, “use lemon juice, camphor mixed in coconut oil. People should apply lemon juice for 15 minutes and then rinse it. This is a very effective remedy. Lemons are easily available and are also cost-effective,” he said.
“To get back the texture, wash hair with beer. It really helps bring the shine back and gives volume too,” he added.Even celebrity hairstylist Amjad Habib emphasises the quick home remedy to fix fizzy tresses.
“Home remedies are the most effective. People who have normal but frizzy hair can apply mashed mango and mint paste. It brings back the shine and makes hair smooth,” said Habib.”People who have very dry hair should apply a paste of three bananas and honey and leave it for 50 minutes. It takes away the dryness and makes the hair softer. Lastly, for people who have oily hair they should apply a paste of mint on the scalp and leave it for 10-15 minutes and then rinse it thoroughly,” he added.Batra also advises a nourishing diet.”As far as medicinal precautions are concerned people can take Vitamin H, calcium pantothenate and biotin. A lot of hair serum (like Livon) are also available in the market. It helps a lot in bringing back the shine.”
“A rich diet of protein is what we recommend. For non-vegetarians fish and chicken helps. Vegetarians should indulge in soya products,” he added.

Hair Spa Not Only Nourishes Your Hair But Also Relaxes You

Hair spa not only nourishes your hair but also relaxes you. Getting it done from a hair salon may cost you beyond your monthly budget for personal grooming. Still, it is not fair to skip such an important aspect of your beauty enhancement and mental unwinding. Now, you might be wondering how to make hair spa at home. You can do hair spa as well as save your hard-earned money. This is possible if you do it at home with some quality hair care products and materials easily available at home.

Get Organized For Your Home Spa Day. Pull together some of the things that say "spa" -- your robe and slippers, spa CDs, candles, clean sheets and towels, exercise clothing, your favorite exercise DVDs, a body scrub, your facial products, and things to get yourself a manicure and pedicure. This will help inspire you as you plan your home spa day.

 Hair Spa
Plan Healthy Meals. Create your home spa menus around healthy food that will help you eat for energy -- an egg-white omelette with vegetables for breakfast, stir-fired chicken breast and vegetables for lunch, lentil soup and salad for dinner. You can cook ahead or make that part of the fun or your home spa day, especially if you're with a friend.

Get Some Exercise During Your Home Spa Day. You can take a walk around your neighborhood, bike ride, go to the local gym, take a yoga class, watch an exercise DVD -- whatever works for you and where you live. You can get up early, eat a piece of fruit and some almonds before you go for a walk, then do something else later in the day. How much and what kind of exercise you want to do depends on your current fitness level.

Give Yourself A Spa Treatment During Your Home Spa Day.One of the easiest home spa treatments is a body scrub and hot bath. This would be a good thing to do in the afternoon. Take time to rest afterwards. You can also give yourself a home facial, or do your nails.

Shampooing

The step in this hair spa procedure is shampooing. It is better if the first step is done at night and the oil is left as it is overnight. Though in case you don't want to keep the oiled hair overnight just shampoo them well with a mild natural shampoo after 2-3 hours. Try not to rub the scalp with shampoo and make sure you use luke warm water to wash the hair. The hair needs to be rinsed well with lots of water.

Conditioning

Next condition the hair with a suitable conditioner. It would be better to use a herbal hair conditioner than a chemical laden one. Rinse the conditioner well till the excess of slipperiness is gone. To make sure that every hair strand is conditioned, make small sections of hair to apply conditioner.

Applying Hair Mask

Now you would need to apply hair mask for nourishing the hair. There are numerous herbal hair masks available in market these days. Though, you can make hair masks at home too. Check out some of the hair masks here:

Egg and Oil Hair Mask

Make a well beaten mixture of 2 eggs and 6 spoonfuls of coconut oil. Whisk it thoroughly to get a smooth mixture. Apply this mixture on scalp with the help of fingers. The heat produced by the friction of fingers while massaging would help the oil penetrate deep into the scalp thus, nourishing the hair. Cover the hair after applying it evenly all over the head rinse it off with a herbal shampoo after 20 minutes.

Banana and Milk Hair Mask

Mix one mashed banana with one beaten egg, 2 tablespoons of honey, 3 tablespoons of milk and 5 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix all together thoroughly to get a smooth mixture. Apply it evenly all over the head and wash it thoroughly with a herbal shampoo after half an hour. What you'll get is a shiny and healthy mane!

Some Of The Hair Treatments For Damaged Hair Are Described

Hair Damage
Life was good when I was in my teens. The only pins and needles life had was how to pass my exams. There was not much to worry about. Not much to devote time to. And certainly, not much to care about. Nevertheless, like all things come to an end, so did the teenage. Stress surfaced, depression hovered, skin disorders took over, and healthy hair was soon a thing of the past. It may not come as a surprise to me if your chronicles are similar to mine. I cannot believe there exists a female in this world who doesn't complain of hair loss and damage. The harsh sun, pollution, and dust are no less than a demon to having stolen that luster, sheen, and strength of the hair. Most women wail in helplessness, while the others? The others do everything they can to seek proper repair methods of hair damage. But what is it that makes up for an all-inclusive approach to damaged hair repair? The following cluster of words attempt to answer.

Hair Damage Repair: At Home

Nothing like believing with all your heart in home remedies for damaged hair as they come straightaway from your granny's kitty! It's not my place to wonder what is it that damaged your hair. All I know is, when causes are large in number, solutions are large in number too. Effective hair care with those items present in your kitchen, is all you need to fix damaged hair naturally, at home. Let's kick start with the following home remedies:
  • One of the most effective solutions to hair damage is to apply mayonnaise overnight. Your hair should be covered throughout, and should be washed in the morning. Regular application would help in getting rid of dry scalp, and split ends.
  • For hair breakage repair, take honey and eggs in equal amounts, and apply it, leaving for fifteen minutes. Wash it off, and you'll see the result in just a couple of applications.
  • Another home remedy using egg whites is worth going for. All you need to do is crack open an egg, leaving the yolk in a bowl, and whipping the egg whites. Mix it all with some water, and blend until smooth. Apply the mixture, and massage your scalp. Wash it, and the results would astonish you.
  • A hair mask for dry damaged hair is that of olive oil, honey, and one ripe avocado, mix them until it becomes a creamy mixture. Leave it applied for half an hour, and wash with a mild shampoo. Hair masks are known to contain effective vitamins for improving the quality of hair.
  • Oil your hair at least twice a week. Some essential oils such as coconut oil, jojoba oil, and of course, olive oil, are the most effective troubleshooters for damaged hair. Not only do they help in repairing dry, damaged hair, but also augment healthy hair growth.
Professional Treatments

There are times when you've tried almost everything, but neither do those damaged hair follicles get enhanced, nor does that luster come back. Result? Even more damaged hair, with no possible chance of recuperation. That's when you need to take professional advice, and go for hair care products. Many women artificially straighten their hair, go for hair coloring, and various other transformations. In other words, they chemically damage their hair! However, many hair care products available in the market give away a fantastic solution to damaged hair. Not only products, but various treatments can help you get back your old, beautiful, lustrous hair. Some of the hair treatments for damaged hair are described below:
  • Go to a hair dresser, and get those damaged split ends cut. The most basic professional treatment is nothing but to remove those hair strands that are tired of growing any further. The best haircut would be getting a cool pixie bob, or cute short haircut that suits your personality.
  • Get a hair spa treatment if at all your hair damage is a result of excessive dandruff. Hair spa gives an all new vigor to your hair, bringing back the shine, and contributing to reducing scalp problems like no other.
  • After shampooing and deep conditioning, do not forget to apply a hair serum. Hair serum enhances the look of your hair, and will disentangle those hair strands due to split ends and dryness. Just remember, hair serum should never be applied to the scalp, but only to the hair. Do not forget to wash away the serum before hitting the bed in the night.
  • Choose a good shampoo and conditioner for your hair. Most of the hair damage is caused by using wrong hair products for your hair. Now is the time to clear those useless products off the shelf, and pick up the best shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair. This will keep your hair healthy, with a good fragrance all throughout.
  • A number of hair vitamins are required to be consumed if you're suffering from an eternity of bad hair days. Vitamins such as Hair Formula 37, Viviscal, Nanogen Nanocaps, etc. are excellent picks for hair vitamins. Go through hair vitamins reviews and settle on which one to buy.
Hair damage repair is incomplete without a perfectly balanced-diet. Healthy eating paves the way for hair to grow healthy, and stay healthy. What all has been stated above is not a miracle, but a persistent process. Endurance is a must, and regularity is a requisite. It is only then that hair would shine with all its strength, and live a long, long life.

The Benefits Of Using Grape Seed Oil For Hair

Hair Oil
Recent research has shown that your grandmother has been right all this while. Oiling your hair regularly keeps it healthy and shiny, and makes it strong and lustrous. Every woman wants to have long, shiny hair but unfortunately many of us are plagued by problems of hair loss, frizziness, split ends and hair that is rough and lacks shine. To counter all these problems and for proper hair care, oiling your hair with a good oil is absolutely essential. One such oil that can do wonders for your hair is grape seed oil. Grape seed oil is extracted from the seeds of grapes. Grape seed oil is a light green colored oil that is almost odorless and has a light non greasy texture. This makes it an ideal oil for applying to hair for those people who are put off by the greasiness of other hair oils like olive oil and coconut oil.

Benefits of Grape Seed Oil for Hair

Here are some benefits of using grape seed oil for hair.
  • Since grape seed oil is odorless and non greasy in texture, it can be applied by people who do not like the feeling of hair that is weighed down by rich and heavy oils.
  • Because of its non greasy texture, grape seed oil is easily absorbed by the scalp and hair, making hair soft, shiny and manageable.
  • When grape seed oil is used as a carrier oil by diluting it with other essential oils like lavender oil and ylang ylang, it moisturizes and nourishes the hair making it soft and manageable.
  • Grape seed oil can also be used for hot oil hair treatments. Since the oil is light and quickly absorbed, heating grape seed oil and applying it to the scalp and hair ends greatly helps to make hair shiny, reducing brittleness.
  • Dandruff problems as well as seborrheic dermatitis can be reduced by regular application of grape seed oil on the scalp.
  • The best thing about applying grape seed oil is that it can be safely applied on all hair types, whether you have normal, dry or oily hair.
  • Using grape seed oil for hair growth is also recommended since vitamin E and linoleic acid present in grape seed oil helps to strengthen hair. Grape seed oil strengthens the hair follicles and makes hair strong and healthy.
  • Grape seed oil can be used in natural homemade deep conditioning treatments by mixing 4 tablespoons of grape seed oil with 5 drops of cypress essential oil, juice of half a lime and 2 egg yolks. Regular deep conditioning treatment with grape seed oil will make hair strong and lustrous.
  • Dry, rough and frizzy hair can also benefit from the use of grape seed oil as it smooths the hair cuticles, sealing in the moisture and making each hair strand strong
These were some benefits of using grape seed oil on hair.

How to Use Grape Seed Oil for Hair

For any hair oil to show results, you should know how to apply it correctly. Grape seed oil is no different, and to fully benefit from this wonder oil you should follow the instructions given below for its application.

First measure out about 4 to 6 tablespoons of organic grape seed oil and put it inside a zip lock plastic bag. Now add 2 teaspoon of ylang ylang, lavender or rosemary essential oil to the grape seed oil. Adding such essential oil to the hot oil treatment will help calm your mind. Add hot water in a large bowl or mug and then submerge the zip locked bag with the grape seed oil into it. Keep it submerged for about 2 to 3 minutes, until the oil in the bag is warm to touch. Pour out the warm grape seed oil from the bag into a small bowl and apply the warm oil into your scalp. With the tip of your fingers, gently massage the hot oil into your scalp and base of neck and hair. Make sure that you coat each strand of hair with the warm grape seed oil. Dip a clean towel in warm water and wring out the excess water. Wrap the warm towel over your head. Leave the oil on your hair for about 25 to 30 minutes and then wash your hair with a mild shampoo. After rinsing your hair, you will see that your hair is shining with health. Take care not to comb or brush your hair while it is still wet as it leads to tangling and breakage.

This was all about the benefits of using grape seed oil on hair and the right way to apply it. Regular use of grape seed oil will make your hair strong, healthy and super shiny. So use pure grape seed oil to get beautiful, long and lustrous hair.

Greasy Hair Solutions That Can Help You Counter The Problem

Greasy, oily hair that look dull and lifeless is a problem that is faced by women around the world. The result is the presence of lank, oily strips of hair that are splattered close to your scalp. Not only is this hair type hard to control and style but also, excess of sebum lends a waxy look to the hair which is quite ugly. Apart from an overproduction of sebum, hormonal problems, perspiration, environmental toxins, smoke and smog can all contribute to the greasy appearance of your hair.

Most of us try to disguise the oily scalp and greasy hair with bandannas, headbands and scarves, but is there a way to deal with greasy hair? Well, as the best hairdressers will tell you, the only way to deal with greasy hair problem is to use the right products and incorporate a proper hair care regime. So if you are faced with an oily scalp and hair, then here are some greasy hair remedies that you can use to counter the problem.

Greasy Hair Solutions

Greasy Hair Care Products
The presence of excess oil and sebum in hair tends to attract dirt and grime to it. This makes regular hair cleansing an essential part of your hair care routine. While cleansing is important in itself, it is also essential to keep in mind the hair care products that you use. Applying the wrong chemicals or ones that are strong, heavy oil-based conditioners result in greasy hair. Buy shampoos specially formulated for oily hair and avoid the use of pomade and hair gels which contain chemicals that can damage your hair.

Greasy Hair Care
When washing your hair make sure that you use small quantities of well-diluted shampoo for oily hair. While it may be recommended that you leave on the shampoo for some time, it is best to wash your hair as quickly as you can. If you observe greasy hair after washing, then try using a mild shampoo and wash it less, so that the natural oil balance of the hair shaft is restored. Conditioner if needed should be applied only to the tips of the hair.

Using Talcum Powder
An age-old remedy that is the best cure of oily scalp problems, sprinkling some talcum powder onto the scalp helps in soaking in the excess oil of the scalp and restoring the oil balance. Sprinkle talc or baby powder and let it remain on the scalp for a few minutes. Brush through with a wide toothed comb.

Homemade Herbal Shampoo
Create your very own homemade greasy hair shampoos with a teaspoon of aloe vera gel, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice along with your regular shampoo. Blend all the ingredients and wash your hair with it. Massage it gently onto the scalp and then rinse off with cold water.

Lemon and Vinegar Hair Treatment
Acidic rinse help in drying out the excessive natural oil in the scalp. Lemon or white vinegar mixed with water makes for a great after shampoo rinse for greasy, oily hair. This oily hair treatment not only reduces sebum in the hair but also helps in clearing away the soap remnants from the hair. A good homemade hair astringent can be your answer to the problem of greasy hair and hair loss. Use half a teaspoon of witch hazel with equal amounts of mouthwash and apply it to the scalp using a piece of cotton wool. Some drops of lavender or sage oil to your regular shampoo can help in restoring hair.

Prevention of Greasy Hair
In addition to these oily hair home remedies, you can try using some simple, greasy hair quick fixes to restore the shine and bounce of your hair.
  • Maintain a healthy, balanced diet low in oils, sugars and fat and rich in fruits and vegetables. This helps eliminate the internal toxins that may result in greasy hair strands
  • Wash your hair regularly, especially after exercising or going out in the sun as the perspiration can result in excess sebum production and greasy hair
  • After washing avoid using a conditioner and use cool air to dry the hair fast
  • Avoid touching and brushing your hair too often which will end up producing extra oils due to over-stimulation and also avoid using metal combs. Instead stick to plastic and horn combs
  • Styling products such as gels and treatments should be restricted as damaged hair can be harder to control
While in most cases, greasy hair might be an outcome of an improper hair care regime, in certain cases oily scalp may be a result of a health problem. One of the main causes of greasy oily scalp problems is the stress. So with a healthy diet make sure that you incorporate a healthy lifestyle which involves getting enough sleep, exercising and meditating to eliminate the stress in your life. The essential rule is to not just invest in expensive, over-priced products but use these simple greasy hair solutions to restore the beauty and shine to your hair.

Remember that they are delicate and get damaged if you treat them harshly. Be slow while combing your hair. Do not tie them tight, especially while sleeping. It is good to use a comb instead of a hair brush. One of the healthy hair tips is not to comb wet hair. Do not pull or rub your hair for any reasons. Use minimum clips to tie them. Protecting them from the sun and pollution is another important task which you can do by using sunscreen and scarfs. Make sure you only use cotton headgear.

Eat Health Foods
Though commonly ignored, healthy food plays an important role in hair growth. Junk food, aerated drinks, caffeine is of no use for your hair. Restrict Styling
While you consider what to opt for to have healthy hair, you must remember what you must avoid. First stop styling your hair. So go for air drying instead of blow drying. It is best to stop the use of gels and irons. While skipping the use of styling products might make you look unattractive for some days, the final results will be best, natural and permanent. You can instead opt for a manageable haircut and keep following the hair care regime for proper hair growth.

Having a hot oil massage with coconut, vitamin E or olive oil, once a week is extremely essential. Applying a hair mask once a week is a great idea to improve the texture of your hair. A hair mask of olive oil and honey or eggs will make your hair soft. Trimming your hair once in two months is important. Also cut those split ends every month to ensure proper hair growth. Choose The Correct Shampoo For Your Hair

Shampooing is essential to everyone's hair care routine, regardless of hair type or texture. You should shampoo as often as necessary to keep your hair looking clean and your scalp comfortable. This may range from shampooing daily to shampooing only once a week, depending on how oily your hair is, the level of physical exercise you indulge in, the environment, your hairstyle and any scalp problems. Those who have oily hair, exercise daily, or live or work in dirty environments may need to shampoo daily, while others need to shampoo less frequently.

Walk into any drug store, supermarket, department store or salon and you will be visually assaulted with vast numbers of hair care products. The choices are nearly infinite. With so many choices in a multitude of price ranges, choosing the right shampoo for your hair can be daunting.

Determining the correct shampoo

When trying to determine which shampoo is correct for your hair, you should first consider hair type. Is your hair curly or straight, frizzy or flat, fine and limp or bouncy and lively? All of these factors can be important in helping you choose the right shampoo. Secondly, you should ask yourself if your hair tends to be dry or oily. This will not only help you to determine which type of shampoo  to purchase but how often you should use it. Is your hair color treated with highlights, low lights or bleaching? If so, there is a shampoo for that as well.

The skin conditions
Another factor to consider when choosing a shampoo for your hair is whether you have skin conditions of the scalp that make you sensitive to a particular shampoo. If you have dandruff, seborrhea or psoriasis of the scalp, there are actually shampoos that cleanse your hair as well as treat your scalp conditions. These shampoos can be a godsend for some consumers.

Price range
One final consideration when choosing a shampoo is price range. There are extremely low priced shampoos as well as very high end shampoos that range well into the double-digits. The fact is, with these high end shampoos you are primarily paying for sleek or innovative packaging and high level advertising. Typically, if you check the ingredients in almost any shampoo you will find the same or similar ingredients. There is not a great deal of difference.

The best idea, when choosing the right shampoo for your hair is to try a few different products that address the particular type of hair you have. Often salons provide sample sizes. Manufacturers often offer free samples on their web sites as well. Find what works best for you and addresses your particular hair needs and then stick with it.

Helpful Tips To Stop Hair Breakage And Have Healthier Hair

Harsh hair styles and improper care are often the culprit of hair breakage and every woman’s nightmare. Here are some useful tips that will help you avoid hair breakage and have the healthier hair you have always wanted:

1.Avoid exposing your hair to harsh chemicals

Chemicals used in perming, straightening, and coloring are harsh, causing hair damage and breakage. To minimize hair breakage, avoid exposing your hair to these chemicals. If you want to style your hair, make sure you keep your hair moisturized and regularly maintain treatments advised by your stylist, such as protein treatments and argan moroccan hair oil.

2.Regularly trim the ends of your hair

Hair experts also advise that you trim your hair every two to three months. This will help avoid split ends, which are also a form of hair breakage.

3.Brush your hair only when half dry

It is said that hair is in its weakest and most fragile state when wet. In this condition, your hair is prone to breakage. Brush only when your hair is halfway dry. You may also choose to use a comb when your hair is still wet, preferably with conditioner applied, to prevent hair from breaking.

4.Keep your hair moisturized

Hair breakage is brought about by dry and damaged hair. Another way to keep hair from breaking is to keep it moisturized. You can use protein treatments and conditioning systems to moisturize your hair. For best results, alternately use protein treatments with conditioners.

5.Minimize braiding your hair and using hair extensions

Braiding, tight cornrows, and using hair extensions are also factors that can lead to hair breakage. It is best to minimize such hair styles to avoid putting too much stress on your hair and causing breakage.

6.Go easy on heat

Frequent exposure to high heat can make your hair fragile, causing breakage. Make sure you go easy on flat and curling irons, as well as blow dryers, to prevent your hair from breaking. Avoid long exposure to the sun. If you play golf and do outdoor activities often, make sure you wear a hat or cap to protect your hair from damage.

7.Take vitamin C and E to keep your hair strong and healthy

Your hair reflects your health. Hair that breaks easily may also be caused by a lack of nutrients, which make it more fragile and prone to breakage. The final tip to avoid hair breakage is to take more vitamin C and E supplements to keep your hair strong and healthy.

The key to keeping your hair healthy and avoiding breakage is to make sure you give it proper care. Always listen to your stylist’s advice after hair styling. After all, if you care for your hair, its beauty will reflect on you.

The Best Hair Care Tips For Women

If you have dry hair, then you should be very watchful about the hair care. You immediately need to seek the treatment for dry hair; else they will get damaged and break easily. You may also suffer from severe hair loss. Here are some effective solutions to treat your dry hair. Don’t more frequently wash your hairs. Most people tend to wash hair too frequently and apply shampoos and conditioners.

1. Get a good hairdresser. You need to have your hair cut and dyed only by good professionals. They know what is good for you, for your hair type, what suits you and sometimes they can even guess what you want and don't know how to say it. Moreover, they are the best to ask for advice.

2. Make sure that you visit your hairdresser. It's not enough to know it's there, you have to pay him a visit from time to time. Some say that you have to trim your hair every two months, or at least three months. Otherwise, you won't be able to style it and it will look out of place no matter how much you try.

3. Don't wait for the hairdresser to do wonders, take actions! You have to do some things on your own. You need to wash your hair each time it is dirty, even if sometimes it means each day. Don't worry that it will get too dry. If you are using the right products, you won't have any trouble at all.

4. Protect it! Don't be fooled by the advertising spots from TV that tell you if you use a certain product you won't have to worry about the sun, wind, rain, snow and other damaging meteorological conditions for your hair. There is no such thing as universal protection. If you are going to the beach, then use sun protection. If it is freezing and snowing outside, use protection from snow and low temperatures. And from time to time you have to wear a hat or a cap or something to cover your head.

5. Don't experiment without professional advice. Hair care products, like those for styling, can do more harm than good if they are not used appropriately. This means that you need to find what works for you and stick to that. It is true that things can change, but always use the products your hairstylist recommends.

6. Don't cheap out! Even though some of the best hair care products are a little bit more expensive than the other ones, they are still the best. If you cheap out, your hair will get damaged and you'll end up in using the expensive ones to treat the mess you have done. So in the end you'll still get in the same situation, but only after submitting your hair to the worst situations possible.

Short Hairstyles With Bangs

Bangs or fringes have always been the solution for someone who wishes to dramatically change the way she looks. There is a world of difference in comparing looks with and without bangs added to one’s hairstyle. Bangs are extremely flexible and versatile and they go well with long as well as short hairstyles. If you are looking for something that is low-maintenance and chic then short hairstyles with bangs is definitely a good choice.

Different kinds of bangs for short hairstyles
Short hairstyles with bangs can be acquired with all kinds of bangs – they can be straight, parted, side-swept, wispy, blunt or even wavy. For straight bangs, simply comb the bangs straight down and let them rest slightly above your eyebrows. To get side swept bangs you can use a bit of hair product to hold the bangs swept to one side in a sleek manner. Likewise, to feel vivacious curl your bangs or make them wavy and let them sweep over your forehead for the wavy look.

Bangs for your face shape
You can enhance your facial features by selecting the right kind of short hairstyles with bangs. A face with prominent features like a sharp chin or a large forehead calls for straight bangs to cover up the flaws and to soften them. For those with round faces, side swept bangs are recommended. Women with heart shaped faces can also opt for side swept bangs to complement their face shape.

Products to care for and to style your short haircut
Sporting short hairstyles with bangs is a great feeling because it offers the flexibility to switch up one’s hairstyle very easily. Some of the products that are required to achieve different looks are blow dryer, round brush, styling gel, mousse and hairspray.
Since puffy bangs are slightly out of vogue, therefore if you have these naturally then you can use a blow dryer combined with a round brush and blow hot hair in a downwards motion from the roots to the tips. Afterwards, apply hair wax to set the bangs. For a dramatic makeover, you can use a straightening iron to straighten your hair, including the bangs and the consequence is a sleek pixie-like look.

Sleep relaxes the body and blood flows evenly throughout the body at the same level and therefore regulates hair growth. However, this does not stop with less sleep, but also disturbances I sleep pattern also results in loss of hair. Why to take risk? When you have a way do it.
Hair Massage:
Massaging hair once or twice in week using oil or oil-based conditioners, improves blood circulation in the scalp, and relaxes muscles in the head, improving hair growth. This may include professional grooming at least once in six months or a year. Even otherwise, a gentle massage with fingertips, and gentle combing with all the hair in the opposite direction increases the flow of hair and has been observed to increase the growth of hair by volume.
Hair Growing:
Hair growing gains importance as a healthy and naturally beautiful hair is soft, shiny, and thick has a good volume, and is clean from the hair follicle to the hair tip with not split ends or white heads.
